Valerio Maldonado rose out of the abyss of Albuquerque New Mexico and specializes in black and grey realism. He is continuously sharpening his craft with his favorite projects, being large scale compositions with black and gray realism, portraits of any size, lettering, and dark art.
Art has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. Tattooing on the other hand somehow fell in his lap, a grueling process pressed to provoke creativity on a whole nother scale. From a formal apprenticeship, to hitting portraits out of the gate, one can only say that he fell in love with this craft immediately.
Starting at a local shop in El Paso Texas called Golden Goose to working with well known names such as as Angel Reynosa from After 10 Tattoo in San Diego California, his goal has always been to set a bar that welcomes creativity on a passionate scale to make something special for each client.
